still, until today some of my course mates haven't got a chance to slip into the class legally.
as well as regression analysis, same case.i have no worry since i have not taken statistic which is the pre-requisite.
they were scolding the lousy system for limiting the number of students accepted.we actuarial students gotta suffer lots in third year if we dont take either these 2 subjects earlier.hmm....
suddenly recall something interesting said by deputy higher education minister,Dr. Hou Kok Chung during lunch with us yesterday.he meant UM is good(few of us were laughing), how many universities can provide good students in bad situation.haha...we laughed even louder.but it's true.we dont criticise our own university.we will be the laughing stock but not the university.yeah...we learnt a lot in the conversation.(even much more than what we learnt in calculus III as we skipped class for the lunch with Dr. Hou.)
today started the first lesson of life contingency, taught by an actuary who taught us financial maths in last sem.a strict yet funny indian man.the first lesson in life cont was learning on how to predict people die.arghh.....fun..
first week of second year in actuarial major, touching insurance, finance and economic...new things coming in....
be prepared for the next battle....
